Un soldato israeliano è stato rapito ed assassinato da arabi israeliani. Ecco a confronto cinque versioni della notizia:
1- dall'Agenzia Reuters su sito NY Times: http://www.nytimes.com/reuters/international/international-mideast.html Israel said a soldier found dead in an olive grove Monday was probably killed by Palestinians and issued a new demand for a crackdown on militants as Prime Minister Ariel Sharon began a U.S. visit.
The suspected kidnapping of Oleg Shaichat, who disappeared a week ago, threatened a relative quiet that has prevailed in the month since Palestinian militants declared a truce which is vital to a U.S.-backed peace plan.
President Bush hopes to push the plan forward in his meeting with Sharon Tuesday, when the contentious issue of Israel's construction of a fence in the West Bank is expected to be raised.
After the discovery of the soldier's body, Sharon was likely to counter Bush's position that the fence is a problem for peace with demands that Palestinians crack down on militants. Palestinians fear the fence, which cuts into the West Bank, will set the boundaries of their envisaged state. Israel says the barrier is necessary to keep out suicide bombers. Israeli police said they suspected that the 20-year-old soldier found dead in an olive grove between two Israeli Arab villages in northern Israel had been killed by Palestinians. "There is no question from the evidence gathered that we are talking about a nationalist or terrorist murder," said Israeli police spokesman Gil Kleiman. "The evidence points to the fact that Palestinian militants killed the soldier." 2- dal sito di Arutz7: http://www.israelnn.com/news.php3?id=47247
Near the Israeli-Arab village of Kfar Kana, just north of Nazareth in the lower Galilee, searchers found the body of Oleg Shchaiat this morning. Thus came to a tragic end a week of an intense investigation into the sudden disappearance of the soldier. The police and Shabak surmise that Oleg, 20, was kidnapped by Arabs who murdered him shortly afterwards. Left mostly unsaid is the suspicion that it was Israeli-Arabs who perpetrated the crime.
