NOTE BIOGRAFICHE
David Meir-Levi
David Meir-Levi è israeliano, nato negli USA, e vive attualmente in Contralto di Palo, California. Si è laureato alla John Hopkins University, e si è specializzato in Studi Mediorientali all’Università di Brandeis. Ha insegnato Archeologia e Storia Mediorientale all’Università ebraica a Gerusalemme ed all’Università di Tel Aviv negli anni 60 e 70, durante i quali ha completato il servizio militare nell’esercito israeliano. Al ritorno in Stati Uniti, Meir-Levi ha lavorato come educatore professionale, recentemente nell’area di San Francisco.
Meir-Levi è Direttore di Ricerca ed Istruzione all’Israel Peace Initiative (IPI), un’organizzazione non-profit operante nell’area della Baia di San Francisco, che lavora per informare il pubblico americano ed i suoi leader sulla storia del conflitto arabo-israeliano e sulle reali possibilità di risoluzione.
